Our 2nd annual EBike of the Rockies Mickelson Trail ride took place 7-17-24 to 7-19-24. This year we decided to do the complete trail over 3 days from Edgemont, SD to Deadwood, SD 109 miles.
We left Edgemont around 1pm the 17th and rode to Custer, SD where we had Teepees reserved. After some visiting by the campfire everyone turned in for an mid morning start for the ride to Hill City where we hung out for the day before riding to our next lodging a few miles out of Hill City. This time it was cabins and again visiting around a campfire talking about the day, great views, wildlife (including a rattlesnake), and the newt days plans.
Our final day was to Deadwood, SD to complete the 109 miles.
